What we inspect and verify during a standard rental inspection:

• Inspect for safety and trip hazards
• Verify the property has an operable heat supply system
• Verify all electrical outlets are protected by coverplates
• Verify electrical wires are not visible in living space and that their are no observable issues
• Verify the interior of the property appears to be free of signs of infestation by rodents, insects, and/or pests
• Verify that Carbon Monoxide detectors are located outside of sleeping areas and every level of the home and working properly
• Verify that smoke detectors are present, hardwired, and operational
• Verify that plumbing fixtures and faucets aren't leaking
• If there is a basement present, we verify that there is proper egress in case of a fire
• Verify that all staircases, both interior and exterior, containing 3 or more risers have handrails 
• Verify that all decks and porches higher than 30" above grade have guardrails with no more than 4" gaps between balusters
• Verify the exterior is free of rodent burrows
• Verify the interior of the property is clean and sanitary
• Inspect for any other health and safety concerns
