Our licensed and certified inspectors will perform a comprehensive inspection of your home in full compliance with the State of Maryland Home Inspectors Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors Standards of Practice. Every Pre-Listing Inspection we perform comes with a check of the recall status of the home's appliances through our affiliate RecallChek, at no extra cost. Discovering appliances that have been recalled, prior to the sale of your home, allows you the opportunity to replace those appliances for free in most cases. This service affords you much more leverage at the negotiating table, and helps you avoid surprises from the buyer's inspection findings, which will assuredly be used as leverage against you at that same negotiating table.

Q: Why should I get a Pre-Listing Inspection?
A: A Pre-Listing Inspection provides sellers with information about the current condition of their home, which gives them more options and time for repairs. With our provided RecallChek service you may even be able to replace any recalled appliances for free prior to listing your home on the market. A Pre-Listing Inspection also helps in marketing your home and gives you more control at the negotiating table.
Q: How long does a home inspection take?
A: That depends on what services are being performed, the size of the home, and the amount of systems and components being inspected. A typical home inspection on a 2,000 sq ft home, without additional services added takes approximately three hours on average. Additional services and /or systems and components take additional time.
Q: When will I recieve my report?
A: Our reports are delivered within 24 hours at the latest. Often times it is delivered same day.
Q: Can I be present for the inspection?
A: We encourage our clients to be present if they would like to be. However it is not required.
